Snuggle up with your little one, wrap yourselves in a cozy blanket, and get comfortable. Tonight, I'd love to share one of the Tooth Fairy's most treasured secrets – a story that has been whispered by the moon, carried by the stars, and known only to Maginie.

Have you ever wondered why the Tooth Fairy always waits until nighttime to collect a child's little tooth? Why she never comes while children are laughing, playing, or running through the day, but quietly appears only after sleepy eyes have closed and peaceful dreams have begun?

The answer is more magical than you might imagine.

You see, a little tooth is never ready to leave the very moment it falls out. Throughout the years it spends with a child, it quietly gathers precious memories, holding onto every happy smile, every bedtime story, every crunchy apple, every joyful laugh, and every loving hug. These memories rest safely inside the tooth, waiting patiently for just the right moment.

Only after a child has drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep does something extraordinary begin to happen.

Under the gentle glow of the moon, the little tooth awakens with a soft golden light. One by one, its happiest memories rise like tiny sparkling stars, filling the tooth with a warm magic that cannot be seen during the day. Maginie knows that this is the moment she has been waiting for, because only a tooth filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories can become something even more magical.

With the greatest care, she places the glowing tooth into the little heart-shaped pouch she always carries over her shoulder. Inside that tiny pouch, alongside delicate glass bottles waiting to be filled, every tooth begins its wonderful transformation.

Back in her magical workshop, Maginie gently brushes and polishes each little tooth before turning it into shimmering dream dust. The cleanest, healthiest teeth create the brightest dust of all, sparkling like thousands of tiny stars beneath the moonlight. Their glow is so beautiful that even the stars pause for a moment to admire it.

Teeth that have little spots or tiny cavities are just as welcome in Maginie's workshop. They simply need a little more time and a little extra care before they are ready. The dream dust they create may sparkle a little more softly, but it is filled with just as much kindness, because every child, and every little tooth, holds a little bit of magic.

When the dream dust is finally ready, Maginie's tiny star helpers carefully fill their miniature pouches and set off on their nightly journey across the sleeping world. As they gently sprinkle the shimmering dust above children's pillows, peaceful dreams begin to bloom – dreams filled with enchanted forests, friendly dragons, talking animals, glowing castles, and adventures that can only be found in the quiet hours of the night.

Wherever her journey takes her before dawn, Maginie's thoughts always return to the little child who entrusted her with such a precious gift. With a warm smile she silently whispers into the night,

"Thank you, my little friend, for taking such wonderful care of your smile. Because of you, tonight another handful of dream dust will help fill the world with beautiful dreams."

And that is why the Tooth Fairy always comes at night.

Because only while children are peacefully asleep can their happiest memories become the dream dust that makes the whole world just a little more magical.
